Dear Subscriber,

Hot on the heels of the announcement that the concept Jaguar CX16 will go into production as the Jaguar F Type, Jaguar has also revealed details of two new petrol engines that will join the 2013 model range – a supercharged three litre-V6 and a turbocharged  two- litre V6. The three litre V6, derived from Jaguars current five-litre V8, will have either 340bhp or 380bhp. The 380bhp engine will  only be available in the forthcoming F Type, while the 340bhp will be fitted to the XJ and XF models.  The two-litre turbo charged engine will have 240bhp and is likely to be fitted to the XF & XJ models. Beacham’s will look to offer the XJ & XF with the new engine range and will bring you further information as it is made available.

Despite the recent change in the currency, which has given some respite to exporters, of which we are one, Beacham’s prices have and will remain the same on all new XJ, XF and XK models. We pride ourselves on having New Zealand’s best Jaguar prices and being able to continue offering some serious competition!

This month we feature our own BEACHAM uprated Jaguar exhibition to be held at our Auckland Showroom during this Friday 8th and Saturday 9th June where you will get the rare chance to view our complete range of custom built Jaguars. We are proud to be able to showcase the talents of New Zealand’s best craftsmen and let you see some of New Zealand finest exports.

Launched in 2003, the first generation alloy body XJ  is nearly 10 years old. This model, codenamed the X351, has proved to be extremely reliable and robust, however the older a model gets and the higher the mileage, it is inevitable that certain components will require replacement as a result of normal wear and tear.

Luckily for the owners of this model, Beacham’s stock a full range of parts at very affordable prices. Of particular note are certain suspension parts, where we sell just the “rubber bush” rather than the complete alloy arm. This can literally save thousands of dollars if both sides of the suspension require replacement.

Call Steve on 06 878 2997 to enquire about how we can save to money on your next parts purchase.
It is the that time of the year where you need the heater in your car to be  functioning 100%. These frosty morning will soon let you know if it’s not working. Common reasons for a heater not working can be due to a faulty heater valve, or perhaps a faulty heater control module. Whatever the reason Beacham’s can quickly diagnose and repair the problem and have you back driving in comfort.

If you think your heater is not operating 100%, call us today and let us take a look.

Yours sincerely,

Alex Beacham
