Dear Subscriber,
Welcome to our March edition of the Beacham Newsletter. Summer has been and gone, or should I say never arrived and now its Autumn? The good news is Jaguar continues to design, develop and launch some very exciting cars. See our featured car section, which details the new, very sexy Jaguar XF Sportbrake.
Back at our Hastings factory, our skilled craftsmen continue to work on several projects. Completion is nearing on a 1936 P2 Rolls Royce and a 1964 Bentley S3, which features a late model, fuel injected, Bentley V8 Turbo engine, disc brake conversion with ABS, front & rear Air Conditioning along with a host of other exciting upgrades. We will feature both these cars in more detail once completed.
I will be travelling down to Blenheim for the 11th National Jaguar Rally, which is being held over Easter. Beacham's are excited to be an official sponsor of this unique gathering of Jaguar cars & their owners. The Rally Committee, headed up by Ron Stewart has done a fantastic job organizing the 4 days of events in and around the Marlborough district. I look forward to catching up with some old faces and meeting a few new ones. |

Following on from the recent revamp of the XF range, Jaguar have just launched the stunning new XF Sportbrake at the famous Geneva Motor show in Switzerland. As they did with the XF Sedan, Jaguar have once again set the motoring world alight with the XF Sportbrake. Too exciting to be called an Estate, too sporty to be labeled a wagon, the XF Sporbrake redefines the touring class of vehicle. To quote Jaguar, “The XF Sportbrake is the perfect balance of beauty and purpose.”
The Sportbrake offers 550 litres of standard load space, which increases to 1675 litres with the rear seats folded flat. The overall length grows by just 5mm compared with the XF sedan, and weight only increases by 70 kg.
The Sportbrake will be offered with Jaguars new 2.2 litre four –cylinder turbo-diesel engine and the now familiar 3.0 litre V6 turbo-diesel, both driving through an eight speed automatic transmission. Self leveling air suspension on the rear will be standard on all models.
Beacham’s are now taking orders for delivery of early 2013

Now is a good time to book your Jaguar in for a service or general check up prior to winter. Our service inspections include checking the condition of your tyres, wipers and brakes – all essential items for safe winter motoring.
Also with Easter approaching, check that your WOF, Rego, & RUC’s are all current. If you need a new WOF, or want to have a service carried out, please contact either our Hastings or Auckland service centre today. |
Yours sincerely,

Alex Beacham
